Fairy Cakes (see photo galleries for pictures)

I am passionate about designing and making fairy cakes and, as can be seen from the photo gallery, a huge number of options for design are possible and often a platter of these litle pieces of artwork can make a fabulous centrepiece to a party.

Fairy cakes come in a traditional vanilla, chocolate or chocolate chip. Simple flavours that work well with the buttercream and fondant icing and lovely mini canvasses for design. In terms of design, the sky is the limit! I have had requests from 'beautiful flowers to make someone smile', to 'something fitting for a sushi making party'. Ever popular are the more 'girly' styles, adorned with stiletto heels, handbags, tennis rackets, designer logos. 3D modelling, flat modelling, stencilling, it is up to you!

Minimum order is generally 12 cakes unless part of a larger order. However, exceptions can occasionally be made depending upon time constraints, other orders being fulfilled at the time & whether the order is for boxed gifts.

A price guide is as follows:

Simple designs such as numbers: £2.00 per cake

3D Modelling: From £2.50 per cake depending on amount of detail required

Individually Boxed Cakes: From £3.00 each (minimum order of 6 boxes unless combined with another order). All boxes are tied with organza ribbon.

Gift Boxes of 4: From £10 per box

Gift Boxes of 6: From £15 per box

Generally clients tend to order a platter with a mix of designs including detailed 3D modelling along with more simple designs and these tend to work out at £2.50-£2.75 per unit. A minimum order of 12 cakes applies (unless ordering boxed gifts).

Frosted Cupcakes (see photo galleries for pictures)

Cupcakes are larger than fairy cakes, somewhere in between fairy cake and muffin size! Unlike the fairy cakes, these come in a range of flavours that can be combined with a range of frostings, with mixing and matching always possible!

These are priced at £2.00 per cake. The prices include simple decoration on the frostings such as glitter, sugar balls, sprinkles, butterflies etc For more complex toppings such as roses or fondant modelling, please enquire.

The range includes moist Madagascan vanilla, luscious lemon and rich chocolate fudge cupcakes topped with vanilla, lemon or Belgian chocolate frosting.

Gifts (see photo galleries for pictures)

A range of gift baskets and boxes and bags are available and can be made to suit your budget.

Gift Baskets: These are filled with a selection of handmade muffins (such as peanut butter & snickers, rich chocolate, blueberry, luscious lemon, white chocolate, fuge and banana etc) and rich chocolate brownies. For a small additional cost a couple of fairy cakes can be added with an inscription such as Happy Birthday, Happy 40th, Get Well Soon etc These baskets are priced at between £25 and £40.

Gift Boxes: These are described above under 'Fairy Cakes' and are a perfect dinner party gift, a Get Well Soon, presents for teachers, postman, paper boy etc at Christmas. These are priced at between £10 and £18 for boxes of 4 or 6.
